The Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in the late afternoon of Saturday, July 16, at the Meaford baseball diamonds, Margaret Street in Meaford. The incident occurred when a dog lunged forward and bit a female child playing on the ground before the owner could regain control of the animal. Details are limited, the dog is described as large and black; breed is unknown.
