OS-Police-target-fullJust after 4:00 am on Sunday October 16, 2016 the Owen Sound Police were dispatched to the 200 block of 9th Avenue East regarding a man sitting in a vehicle at a mechanic's garage.

Officers approached the man and learned that he was currently on probation for unrelated offences. The man was arrested and in his possession was a screwdriver set and 2 sets of pliers.

Further search revealed that he was in possession of 5.4 grams of marihuana and stolen licence plates.

The thirty-six year old man from Bognor, Ontario was currently on probation for criminal offences and as a result of this investigation, he will be charged with the offences of:

- Fail to comply with probation (4 counts)

- Possession of break in tools

- Possession of property obtained by crime

- Possession of a controlled substance (marihuana)
