Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit and the Mount Forest Forensic Identification Unit are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the Flesherton Pharmacy located on Durham Street, Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands just before 4:45 p.m. this date, November 18, 2016.

Upon entering the pharmacy, the lone male suspect, armed with a firearm, passed a note to the pharmacist demanding narcotics. An undisclosed quantity of narcotics was handed over to the suspect who then fled the pharmacy. He was observed getting into the passenger side of a white, 3500 GMC pick-up truck with dual wheels. The vehicle was last seen heading northbound on Hwy. 10 out of Flesherton.

The pharmacist and two female employees were the only people in the pharmacy at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'10", 175 lbs, with blue eyes. He was wearing a red and navy jacket, a grey/black colour baseball cap, and a camouflage colour balaclava.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
