On February 11, 2017, at approximately 11:04 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen snowmobile from the Township of Southgate.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., the victim, a 28-year old Strathroy man, was operating his snowmobile on the OFSC trail near Southgate Sideroad 41 and Southgate Rd. 12 when it broke down. He left the sled at the side of the road. When he returned to the scene with his truck and trailer a short time later, the snowmobile was gone.
The stolen snowmobile was described as a green, 2004 Artic Cat FirecatF6, VIN -4UF04SNW94T127940, licence 929019.
