Grey Bruce Health Services is hosting a public information session on Wednesday, April 19, from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Annesley United Church in Markdale.

During this session, GBHS will provide a progress update on the plans for the new hospital.

In addition, GBHS will share information on a recommendation to increase the long-term sustainability of the elective day surgery program currently offered in four of the six GBHS hospitals.

Approximately 4% of the elective day surgeries performed at GBHS are done in the Markdale Hospital. Elective day surgery is not part of the plan for the new facility.

All members of the public are welcome to attend. Parking is free.
