How long will the last remaining local television station in Owen Sound be on the air?  For the moment there seem to be no changes in the wind,but reports indicate that sixty-five jobs are about to be lost in Toronto as Rogers  closes four television stations there.

Rogers TV Grey County in Owen Sound provides coverage for local councils, sports, and news, as well as special community events from parades to political debates. Their community shows provide promotion, information and celebration of community issues and events all year long.  With two professional staff locally and a hard-working crew of part-timers and volunteers, the station has "punched above its weight" for years.  

Time will tell what the future will be for local television in Owen Sound.
