On May 30, 2017 at 8:52 p.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash along Highway 10 in Chatsworth Township. Grey OPP and OPP Highway Safety officers arrived to find that an International Transport Truck and a White BMW were involved in the crash.

The driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver's name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The driver of the Transport was taken to a local hospital for assessment of minor injuries.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit is assisting the Grey County OPP with this incident.

Highway 10 has been closed between Grey County Road 40 and Hatten Drive for the safety of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.

The investigation is in its early stages.
