On July 11, 2017 at approximately 6:22 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police investigated a break-in reported at Maxwell Meats located on Grey Rd. 4, east of Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Sometime between 11:00 p.m. on July 10th and 6:00 a.m. on July 11th, unknown person(s) forcibly entered the business. Once inside, the culprit(s) breached a safe. A quantity of cash, gold coins, silver bars and collectible coins were removed. Other stolen property included fireworks and cigarettes.

Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit - Mount Forest, continue to investigate this break, enter and theft. Anyone with information which may assist is asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
