A two car crash results in minor injuries.

On Sunday August 13th, 2017 Owen Sound Police investigated a two vehicle collision in the intersection of 10th Street West and 2nd Avenue West.

The investigation revealed that at approximately 4:00 p.m. a 49 year old Owen Sound man was driving east on 10th West in a Chrysler sedan when he failed to stop for the red light. His vehicle struck a 2012 GMC truck that was northbound crossing the intersection on 2nd Avenue West.

The occupants of the Chrysler were transported by ambulance to the Owen Sound hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both vehicles received significant damage. The driver of the Chrysler was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for disobeying a red light.
