Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Owen Sound Police Service are seeking the public's help in solving a daytime break and enter.
On August 14, 2017 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. a residence in the area of Greenwood Cemetery was entered while the homeowners occupied the backyard. After entering through a side door, culprit(s) removed jewelry from the bedrooms.
A vehicle believed to be involved is described as similar to a Volkswagen or Mazda sedan, dark gray or black in colour. A white female in her mid to late 30's, with long straight dark hair and average height and build, was observed nearby and is believed to be related to the break-in.
Police note a similar vehicle with concealed plates was reported in the 400 block of 5th Street A West around 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
