A male who was arrested and held for a bail hearing on August 18, 2017 after committing an assault on his elderly grandmother is back in custody after violating conditions of his release.
On August 22, 2017 at approximately 4:06 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received information that the male had been sitting in a lawn chair across the road from the victim's residence in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. Conditions of his release included not to be within 100 metres of the victim's residence and not to buy, possess or consume alcohol.
The 47-year old male, who resides in Clearview Township, was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for August 23, 2017. He faces three counts of breach of recognizance.
