Update – Shawna Kaus, age 16, has been located in Meaford and returned home safe and sound.

MEAFORD – On Monday, August 18, 2014 at approximately 6:15 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing teenage girl from the Municipality of Meaford.

Shawna Kaus, age 16, was last seen at her home on Coleman Street in Meaford at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17th.

Grey County OPP is asking anyone with information as to Kaus's whereabouts to contact them at 1-888-310-1122. They would like to speak with Kaus to verify her well-being.

Shawna Kaus is described as:

- 5'5" tall, 120 lbs, medium build
- long blonde hair, bangs
- grey/blue eye colour
- wearing jeans, black hat with studs on the brim, purple skater shoes
