On September 15, 2017 at 1:24 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a single vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 3 in Elderslie Township, just north of Paisley. Officers arrived to find a Red Toyota Corolla in the west ditch with significant front end damage. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Toyota was northbound on Bruce County Road 3 when the driver swerved to avoid a southbound truck that had crossed into the northbound lane. The southbound vehicle is described as a Maroon colored Chevrolet or GMC pick-up truck with a cap on the back. Police are looking to speak with the driver of the Maroon colored pick-up.
