A Meaford man has been charged with impaired driving.

On 24 September 2017 shortly after 4:00pm the Owen Sound Police were alerted to an erratic driver thought to be impaired. With the assistance of the public, Police located the vehicle, a 2000 GMC Sierra and its driver on the west side of town.

A 46 year old Meaford resident was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Subsequent breath tests revealed the male had 3 times the legal limit in his system. He was additional charged with operating a motor vehicle over 80 mg. The male will appear in court on October 5, 2017 to speak to these charges.
