Owen Sound Police executed a drug search warrant.

During the morning hours of December 5, 2017 members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and the Criminal Investigations Branch executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 100 block of 5th Street East. An investigation had identified the resident's as being involved in the trafficking of Methamphetamine.

A subsequent search of the apartment resulted in the seizure of 26 grams of Methamphetamine as well as a small quantity of Cocaine. The street value of the seized methamphetamine is approximately $2,600. Police also seized cash proceeds from the sale of narcotics and recovered stolen property from the residence.

A 34 year old male and a 27 year old female, both of Owen Sound, face a series of criminal charges including possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. Both individuals were held in custody for Show Cause Hearings to take place on December 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
