On December 13, 2017 at approximately 7:24 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police, together with the Inter-Township and Wiarton Fire Departments, responded to a structure fire on Grey Road 1 south of Indian Acres Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

Upon arrival the structure, an older style cottage, was fully engulfed. The cottage was not occupied at the time.

There were no injuries reported. The fire is not deemed to be suspicious.
