Cynthia has been fulfilling the role of Executive Officer Human Resources Services since 2009. She brings more than 30 years of experience in education, which includes serving in the capacities of teacher, vice-principal, and principal in a variety of Bluewater schools, as well as provincial experience in union and employee relations. "It is an honour to serve the students, staff and communities in Bruce and Grey Counties, and a privilege to work with those who are so passionate about and dedicated to the success of our students in Bluewater District School Board," says Lemon.

"We appreciate the expertise that Cynthia has brought to Bluewater District School Board over the past many years. She is a valued member of our senior team, and we look forward to working with her in the reclassified expanded role as Superintendent of Education," says Director of Education Alana Murray.

As Superintendent of Education, Cynthia's responsibilities will be broadened to include an area of schools, in addition to a portfolio comprised of a number of system responsibilities.
