On May 8th, OSDSS's William DeBoer, a grade 12 Manufacturing Specialist High Skills Major student competed in the Provincial Skills competition in Precision Machining.

We are very proud of his accomplishment as he placed 4th in the Province out of 18 other competitors. He was also the highest placed competitor in the Bluewater and Bruce-Grey Catholic School boards at the provincial level. Will's skill, talent and dedication to increasing his skill - not only in Precision Machining, but all tech areas is inspiring. Will is a well rounded student who is often helping others in the tech programs as well as producing consistent high quality work.

William is an Honours SHSM student and will be graduating from OSDSS as an Ontario Scholar as well as a Red Seal designation on his Diploma for his completion of the Specialist High Skills Major in Manufacturing.

His attributes and accomplishment make William a sought after individual and we look forward watching his future success.
