Community Foundation Grey Bruce is pleased to announce its spring grants to nonprofit organizations and charities across Grey and Bruce Counties.
Priorities for Community Grants are based on Community Foundation Grey Bruce's Vital Signs® report which gathers statistics on community vitality in the areas of health & wellness, arts and culture, education and lifelong learning, living standards, the environment, and community connections. Applicants are required to describe how their project addresses one of the indicators of community wellness as outlined in the Vital Signs® report.
This spring, a total of $188,276 is granted to support projects by 65 charities across Grey and Bruce counties. An additional $176,378 in grants will be disbursed to charities as directed by individuals and organizations who hold endowment funds at the Foundation.
Community Foundation Grey Bruce will be travelling across the region in the coming weeks to bring grants and celebration to the awarded recipients in their respective communities. This road show is supported by the generous sponsorship of Lucky Dog Motors, Have1.com, Integra Design and our media partners Bayshore Broadcasting and Grey Bruce Boomers magazine.
The next deadline for Community Grants is September 15th, 2018. The application process can be access through the Foundation's website www.communtyfoundationgreybruce.com. For questions on Community Grant eligibility, please contact Wendy Bachiu, Grants Co-ordinator at 519-371-7203.
