Starting next week, November 20th until December 3, 2018 Lion’s Head Hospital will be offering emergency services only while the flooring is being replaced. The ER will remain open 24/7 and will be staffed as normal, however, the four patient rooms at the hospital will be temporarily closed and any patients requiring admission will be transferred to one of the other GBHS hospitals.

The outpatient Lab and Xray will also be closed during the project. Any patients who have been pre-booked for x-rays or other appointments during this two week period have been, or will be, re-scheduled.

The carpet is being replaced throughout the hospital with non-slip, vinyl flooring. The hospital will be offering emergency services only to reduce traffic in the hospital, and ensure that the workers have the space to complete the replacement as quickly as possible.

We recognize that this may be a disruption for our community members. Your patience and support is appreciated while this much needed flooring project is completed.
