Owen Sound - The Scenic City Lions Club led by Lenora Raby have made a $2500 donation to the Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Services to purchase Carbon Monoxide alarms for those in Owen Sound who can't afford one. The donation will provide more than 100 Carbon Monoxide alarms throughout the City.
As of April 15, 2015 all homes in Ontario equipped with fuel fired appliances or attached garages will require a Carbon Monoxide.
The Carbon Monoxide alarms that have been donated will be given out to the families in the City of Owen Sound that are in need and cannot otherwise afford one. If you would like to get a Carbon Monoxide alarm provided by the Scenic City Lions please contact the Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Service to arrange for an installation.
