OSDSS students who have qualified for the Special Olympics Provincial Track and Field meet in Toronto attended a ceremony Monday at the Owen Sound Police station. It was commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Special Olympics and they helped raise a flag.
OSDSS will be selling torches for a Toonie that supporters can write a message of encouragement on. They will post them in the main foyer.
The proceeds will go to running the Special Olympics Provincial Event. Thanks for your support of the athletes in May!
