Former federal NDP leader Ed Broadbent will be visiting Owen Sound on April 13 for a public discussion at the Harmony Centre concert hall, led by retired Globe and Mail journalist Michael Valpy. The event is free and fully open to the public.

Broadbent will be answering questions previously submitted by local residents.

The event starts at 2 p.m. at the Harmony Centre, which is at 890 4th Ave. E. in Owen Sound.

At the same event, the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound NDP will be choosing their candidate for October's federal election, the first of the major parties in the riding to make that announcement.
