Owen Sound and area businesses have once again generously donated over 100 Goods and Services to be auctioned off in an Online Auction hosted by Snider’s Sydenham Auction and the Rockford Auction Centre. Bidding has already begun and will continue until the final bids are taken starting at 7pm on Thursday May 23, 2019.

It is easy to participate in an online auction – just go to www.sydenhamauction.com, click on the “upcoming auctions” tab, and follow the prompts to register and view the items. There is no buyers premium and no tax for this sale! Bidding is fun and easy, with most items being available for pickup in the donating business. The rest will be available at Harmony Centre on Friday May 24 from 9am-5pm and thereafter during regular Tuesday and Thursday office hours of 9am-5pm.

Donations include gift certificates to favourite local businesses, excursions, artworks, hand-painted furniture, travel destinations, and all kinds of interesting items and experiences. This year’s featured items are a 1-year membership to Owen Sound Fitness and Training that includes an exciting gift package (value $1010), and an ICON 100-series Ceramic Grill/Smoker valued at $800 generously donated by Gas Plus.

All proceeds raised with this Goods & Services Auction will be used to replace the floor and cabinets and upgrade the equipment in the Community Kitchen that has been used by OSHaRE to provide over 100,000 soup kitchen meals since beginning operations in 2013.

Harmony Centre is a Registered Charity that owns and operates a re-purposed historic building in the heart of Owen Sound for the use of individuals and groups who need space to share, create, educate, and perform. This active community hub sees over 50,000 visitors each year.
