MEAFORD – On Thursday, November 24, 2014 at approximately 12:20 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended Georgian Bay Secondary School, 125 Eliza Street in the Municipality of Meaford, in response to a report of a sexual assault that had occurred.

Investigation revealed the victim, a 15 year old female student, was lured into a bathroom at the school where she was inappropriately touched by a male student.

The accused, also 15 years of age, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement. He has been suspended from school.

He is scheduled to appear in Youth Justice Court in Owen Sound on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
