Grab a drink, dance the Charleston, spin the roulette wheel, and dodge the coppers! On June 23, Saints & Sinners brings Moreston Heritage Village to life with the colourful history of GreyCounty during the prohibition and bootlegging era.
From 1 to 6 p.m., step back in time to “Corkscrew Town” and taste regional beer, wine, cider, and spirits. Pop into the local Speakeasy the Black Rabbit to spin the roulette wheel and try your luck at blackjack. Don’t miss a lively presentation on undergarments from the 1860s to the 1960s, including vintage corsets, petticoats, bustles, lingerie and more. Then show off your 1920s best in the costume contest and learn the wild dance craze of the 1920s: the Charleston!
Local alcohol producers include Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery, Collingwood Brewery, Creemore Springs Brewery, Duntroon Cyder House, Formosa Springs Brewery, Heretic Spirits, Mudtown Station Brewery, The Roost Wine Company, Spy Cider House and Distillery, Tobermory Brewing Company, and Windswept Cider. Food will be available from local vendors Dejong Acres, Fired Up at Grilled in Action, Sail, and more. Live music from local musiciansJazz-ma-Tazz and Grassfyre.
Event is 19+ and valid photo ID is required. Tickets are $20 in advance / $25 at the door and include five drink sample tokens. Designated driver tickets are $10 in advance / $15 at the door.
