Big Brothers Big Sisters, a 106-year-old organization, is being reinvented and reintroduced to the world with a new brand a new call to action. We’ve up’d the swagger, boosted the cool, and switched up our style.
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce, we have been enabling life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people since 1960. We are one of 102 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across Canada and last year we worked with over 100 youth to ignite their potential. These professionally supported mentoring relationships help young people build their social and emotional skills, improve their mental health, engage more readily in school, and prepare for the workforce.
Please join us at Owen Sound City Hall at 10am on September 18, 2019 to hear (and see) what we are talking about! We will be raising our flag to celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters Day (and month), receiving greetings from Mayor Ian Boddy, sharing some stories of how much fun Bigs and Littles have when they hang out, and we may even have some ‘swag’ to share.
