As the National campaign for the 43rd General Election in Canada shifts into high gear, Maxime Bernier, Leader of the People's Party of Canada will be at the Harmony Center in Owen Sound on Tuesday, September 24th at 7pm.
With a little over four weeks left in the election campaign, party leaders are crossing the country outlining their platforms and answering questions from the public and members of the media.
Mr. Bernier will spend the morning in Toronto with candidates from the GTA and will travel to Owen Sound in order to meet the constituents of Bruce-Grey Owen Sound to present the fastest growing party in Canadian history.
After forming the PPC little more than a year ago, Mr. Bernier and the over 40,000 members of the party have established electoral district associations in all 338 ridings across Canada. The People's Party expects to have candidates confirmed by Elections Canada in every riding and have outpaced almost every other party in the nomination race.
Media will be able to direct questions to the party leader as well as the local candidate, Bill Townsend.
There will also be presentations from other notable guests.
Doors will open at 6:30pm at the Harmony Center, 890 4th Ave E, Owen Sound.
