Mark your calendars for a fun day on the spectacular Bruce Trail on October 6! Bruce Trail Day is an annual celebration of Canada’s oldest and longest footpath. This year, the Sydenham Bruce Trail Club invites you to join us in exploring two new local nature reserves, Kemble Rock and Kemble Wetland. Several new side trails have been opened by enthusiastic volunteers to showcase these beautiful properties. Hikes geared to varying abilities are on offer so this is a great chance to appreciate nature and the fall colours.

Hikes begin at 1:30pm at the corner of Cole’s and Taylor’s Sideroads, northwest of Kemble. There is good roadside parking. Please come with sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Guided hikes are free and open to all. Light refreshments and trail information is available. This is also a great opportunity to learn about our regular guided hike program, volunteering options, and the Bruce Trail Conservancy’s conservation and stewardship work. Come celebrate October 6 on the Bruce Trail.
