DallaireThe Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is gearing up for a memorable evening with Lt.-General Roméo Dallaire (Ret.) on Wednesday, October 10th. Not only is Lt.-General Roméo Dallaire (Ret.) an exceptional speaker and leadership expert, he is also an internationally celebrated humanitarian, award winning author and former Canadian Senator.

In August of this year, Dallaire was awarded the 2019 Adrienne Clarkson Prize for Global Citizenship for his work in drawing the world’s attention to the atrocities being committed in Rwanda. His courage and leadership during that mission and throughout his career, as well as his decades-long battle with PTSD have earned him international respect.

During his presentation, Mr. Dallaire will share advice on how to lead: how to encourage leaders to embrace new forms of communications, empowering team members to go beyond the perception of their own abilities. Dallaire’s positive approach to world affairs and pro-active leadership will echo in the hearts and minds of audience members long after this event ends.

Be sure to bring your copy of Dallaire’s books or you may purchase a new copy to be signed following this presentation.

When: Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 7pm, a book signing will follow
Where: Unifor Family Education Centre, 115 Shipley Ave, Port Elgin (formerly CAW)
Tickets: $75 each and can be purchased at brucemuseum.ca or by calling 519-797-2080
