Ontario's new Consumption and Treatment Services model saves lives by preventing overdose deaths and connecting people who use drugs to primary care, treatment, rehabilitation, mental health, and other health and social services. That's why Ontario continues to connect people to wrap-around supports through the approval of a community-led application for a new Consumption and Treatment Services site in Kitchener.
Ontario has now approved 16 Consumption and Treatment Services sites in communities across the province.
The Kitchener Consumption and Treatment Services site will be located at 150 Duke Street West. Ontario continues to accept Consumption and Treatment Services applications. Ontario will invest $3.8 billion over 10 years to develop and implement a comprehensive and connected mental health and addictions system.
