GSCAAfter careful consideration and reevaluation during the quickly evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19, Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA) will be closing its Administration Centre (237897 Inglis Falls Road, Owen Sound) to the general public effective immediately. The Grey Sauble March Break Camp will be cancelled effective at 5pm on Monday March 16, 2020.

Meetings scheduled at the GSCA Administration Centre have been cancelled or rescheduled as appropriate. Additionally, GSCA staff will not be attending any meetings until further notice. GSCA asks that community members utilize phone or e-mail if they need to contact or correspond with staff during this time. Staff are continuing to monitor this situation, and in consultation with Public Health, will continue to develop a relevant course of action, including utilizing alternative means of communication, in order to continue to deliver services to the public as necessary.

“These decisions were not made lightly, as we understand that these closures and cancellations may have impacts on individuals within the community”, states Tim Lanthier, Chief Administrative Officer of Grey Sauble Conservation Authority. “However, it is of paramount importance to us that we be socially responsible and maintain a safe working environment for our staff throughout this evolving situation. We will continue to monitor the situation and change operations as necessary with advice from Public Health Grey Bruce and other government health experts. We thank everyone for their support, cooperation and understanding”.
