veggiesWe know this is a trying and uncertain time for Grey County businesses, but governments at all levels are listening to understand how best to help.

We’ve created a new web page to help businesses navigate the different resources available and feedback opportunities. You can find it on our website at www.grey.ca/covid-19-resources.

In an effort to gauge COVID-19 impacts on your business, Grey County is participating in a business survey being coordinated across south western Ontario.

The information collected will be used by staff and shared in confidence with the Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus to gain a more fulsome regional perspective. The survey is anticipated to take less than five minutes.

Your health and safety is important to us. Grey County is taking the lead from the World Health Organization, Public Health and others in deciding how to manage events during the time of growing pandemic.

Planned events are being cancelled, postponed or moved to online platforms until such time as public gatherings are considered safe again.

We are cancelling the in-person networking event planned for April 27 at the Owen Sound Farmers' Market. Attendees have been notified by email. The market is currently closed.

Partners will consider holding an event when it is safe to do so and if there is interest.

As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds, we are tracking impacts across the agri-food value chain so we will be better prepared to help with the recovery. Please send news stories and links to other resources related to agriculture and food to us at [email protected] and they will be added to our research database.
