In this Covid-19 pandemic, Ontario health care professionals are in short supply of protective supplies, and if you live anywhere along or near Highway 6, you might be able to help!
Specifically, the need is for:
· Masks (surgical, N95)
· Isolation gowns
· Gloves (examination/Nitrile)
· Safety Glasses/Googles
· Face shields
· Hospital Scrubs/uniforms
Kasper Transportation, operator of the bus line between Owen Sound and Guelph is offering to deliver those items to the hospitals in Owen sound or Guelph, if you are willing to make them available.
Here’s how it would work: if you have a spare supply or emergency supply of:
· Masks (surgical, N95)
· Isolation gowns
· Gloves (examination/Nitrile)
· Safety Glasses/Googles
· Face shields
· Hospital Scrubs/uniforms
Simply take them to the Owen sound – Guelph bus stop in your community. Manager Greg Macivor will pick them up and deliver them to whichever hospital you designate, Guelph or Owen sound, the two terminals of his run. There is no charge for this; Greg simply wants to help and recognizes this is one way he can.
The Owen Sound-Guelph bus operates twice a day. Below are the times and locations that the bus stops. Beauty salons, hairdressers, tattooists, etc. are now closed. If you have the supplies health care professionals need now, please - put them on the bus!
