grocery shoppingOn April 3, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health updated the list of essential businesses that can remain open. These restrictions are aimed at further reducing contact between people and stopping the spread of COVID-19.

The list of essential businesses applies to any for-profit, non-profit or other entity providing the goods and services identified in the list. Businesses that are not identified on this list must close their physical locations. Businesses not included may still provide services online, by telephone, by mail/delivery or curbside pick-up.

Questions about essential businesses, what will be open, or impacts to your business should be directed to the Stop the Spread Business Information Line at 1-888-444-3659.
