Beginning Tuesday, May 12, 2020, the South Bruce Peninsula Landfill Site will be reopening to the public.

The Landfill Site will be open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The Landfill Site will be open on Victoria Day (Monday, May 18, 2020) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Landfill Site will close the gates to incoming traffic 15 minutes prior to every closing time to allow patrons already within the site to un-load and exit the site by the closing time.

The only acceptable payment methods will be Town charge account for contractors and debit “tap” for all other customers. Contractors without accounts must call Town Hall to set up an account. No cash or regular debit will be accepted. Customers will be turned away from the gate if they do not have the appropriate payment method.

The number of vehicles within the Landfill Site may be limited to make sure everyone is following physical distancing rules. Vehicle line-ups and delays due to high demand are to be expected as we reopen this facility.
