After many weeks of consideration and brainstorming, Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA) has made the difficult decision to cancel their popular summer day camp programming, which was scheduled to run for nine weeks from June 29 to August 28, 2020. The health and safety of campers and staff is GSCA’s priority, but they will continue to assess the COVID-19 situation in the coming months and explore options for delivering alternative day camp or educational programming.
This was not the decision the organization was hoping for, as they realize the impact it will have on the families that rely on the Grey Sauble Day Camp, not only for childcare in the summer, but also for the physical, social, and educational benefits camp provides to their children. A full refund will be provided to parents/guardians who have already registered their child(ren) for camp.
GSCA is grateful for the support of their day camp community and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time.
