The 11th annual Owen Sound Subaru Bayshore Race, scheduled to be held on Sunday August 30, 2020, raised $10,935 through the Owen Sound Subaru’s Matching Your Gift initiative. Donations made in May, in support of this initiative, were matched dollar-for-dollar by Owen Sound Subaru.

With COVID-19 restrictions in place, and the health and safety of all participants and spectators a top priority, the race committee had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 11th annual race, due to be held on August 30, 2020. Owen Sound Subaru responded to the event cancellation, as the 2020 title sponsor, with an incredibly generous fundraising initiative – Matching Your Gift.

Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation Executive Director, Amy McKinnon, states, “Although we wish we were celebrating runners at the finish line, we are thrilled to celebrate raising $10,935 in the name of the Owen Sound Subaru Bayshore Race. Owen Sound Subaru continues to show tremendous support for the race and the Foundation’s mission to raise funds for priority projects. We are thankful to Owen Sound Subaru for their leadership in supporting local healthcare and to all the donors and race participants who participated in this fundraising initiative.”
