Today, Larry Miller, Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, was elected as the Vice-Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security. Furthermore, Miller was also appointed as the Conservative Party Deputy Critic for Parks Canada, Wildlife and Conservation.
The Public Safety and National Security Committee met this morning for the election of the Chair and Vice-Chairs of the committee. As Vice-Chair, Miller will support the Chair of the committee and Chair meetings when necessary.

Furthermore, Miller was also appointed today as the Conservative Party Deputy Critic for Parks Canada, Wildlife and Conservation. In this new role, Miller will work alongside Mr. Robert Sopuck, Member of Parliament for Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa, to hold the Government to account on issues related to this file.
