Larry Miller, Member of Parliament for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, has returned to Ottawa today as the Fall session of Parliament has resumed following a recess for the summer.
Miller will continue to sit on the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security as the Vice-Chair of the Committee. Furthermore, this session will also see the 2nd hour of debate at Second Reading for Miller's Private Member's Bill, Bill C-230 – An Act to amend the Criminal Code (firearm – definition of variant).
"I am looking forward to a very productive session of Parliament this fall," said Miller. "There are a number of pieces of legislation that I am looking forward to speaking to, including my own Private Member's Bill. I am also looking forward to working on a number of important issues with the Public Safety and National Security Committee."
The House of Commons will be in session from Monday, September 19th, 2016 to Friday, December 16th, 2016.
