An analytics agency tracking activities at Queen's Park has named Bill Walker, the PC candidate and incumbent MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, in the top five speakers at the Ontario legislature - by number of words.

Out of the 107 MPPs at Queen's Park, Walker came in second place with 134,160 words and behind first place by a mere 740 words, according to results published by Ontario Monitor.

Walker says he is both humbled and privileged to receive the recognition. He says it's a testament to his  dedication to working hard every day to represent the voice of the people of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound at Queen's Park.

"I always bring the voice of my constituents and stories of their struggles or triumphs into every legislative debate. My job is to hold the government to account for how their policies are impacting the people at home," he said.

Walker is a prolific speaker, with 343 speeches on issues over healthcare, education, seniors, affordability, access to jobs, the hydro mess and government accountability.
