Here is an example of climate action we can all do; grow some trees and find a place to plant them!
The owners of Grey Gallery in Owen Sound agreed to us planting two hazelnuts in their yard. When Anne Dondertman and John Laughlin bought the Grey Gallery, they also bought the vacant lot next to it and have since turned it into community garden beds.
The hazelnuts were grown and donated by Andrii Logan Zvorygin. Owen Sound's downtown is fairly tree-less, so I will be looking into other spots for saplings that are currently sitting in my yard.
