On September 8, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a person with a gunshot injury. OPP officers and Bruce County Paramedics attended a residence in Oliphant at Bay Street, South Bruce Peninsula. The person was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Grey Bruce OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this occurrence.
