Sometime during the late afternoon hours on Thursday October 1st , 2020, at the intersection of 5 th Avenue East and 10 th Street East in the City of Owen Sound, a black Honda Civic was stopped at the stop sign on 5 th Avenue East, waiting for eastbound traffic to pass before making a right hand turn to travel up the 10 th Street hill.

A male pedestrian, who was walking westbound on 10 th Street East, crossed the road at 5 th Avenue East and was struck by the Honda Civic. This matter remains under investigation.
