On December 1, 2020 at 2:31 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft from a residence along Concession 10 west in Arran Township. The complainant called police as they heard their All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) being driven away.

Police recovered one of the stolen ATV's a short distance from the scene. Officers have one individual in custody at this time.

The second ATV is described as a red Suzuki 400. There is a box attached to the ATV that contains 3 long guns.

Members from the Grey-Bruce OPP detachment and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) are working with the South Bruce OPP to locate the outstanding ATV.

If you observe the stolen ATV, do not approach it. Contact your local police as soon as possible by calling 9-1-1.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.

The investigation is in its early stages. Updates will be sent as more information becomes available.
