On August 4, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the Sauble Beach Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist on Bruce Road 13 in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
As a result, the cyclist was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
The Grey Bruce OPP are continuing the investigation. It is believed that there are witnesses that had stopped to render assistance, and departed once emergency crews were on scene. The Grey Bruce OPP would like to speak with these witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or online at www.opp.ca/reporting.
