On October 1, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the Chatsworth Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motor cycle on Gordon Street South in the Township of Chatsworth.

The lone motorcycle rider was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased. They have been identified as 25-year-old Jason Schillaci of Tara.

The OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME) is assisting with the investigation.
