The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is committed to enhancing public and officer safety, building public trust and delivering bias-free OPP services to members of the public. As such, the OPP has developed and implemented a new Tow Program to address how tow vehicles are requested to collision scenes, or other calls for service. The Tow Program will apply to all Tow & Storage Service Operators (TSSO), and will become effective January 1st, 2022.
The Grey Bruce OPP would like to extend a formal invitation to an information session for all Tow and Storage Service Operators in the Grey Bruce service area. This information session is not open to general members of the public. The information session will take place on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. located at the Markdale Fire Hall, 200 Isla Street in Markdale, Ontario. Local officer and program facilitators will be available at this time to provide information and answer questions.
