On February 7 th , 2022, the REACH Centre reported to the Owen Sound Police that sometime overnight their outdoor storage shed had been broken into and their adult accessible tricycle was stolen.  The REACH Centre, located in downtown Owen Sound, is a charitable organization that provides programming for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

On February 8 th , 2022, at 9:00 a.m., the Owen Sound Police Service received a report from a downtown business that the accessible tricycle was abandoned behind their office building.

Officers attended and retrieved the bicycle and it was recognized as belonging to REACH. The bike was immediately returned to their facility which received a warm response. "We are just so very thankful for everyone that kept their eyes open and the overwhelming kindness and support from our community. You all shared and cared and we are so very grateful." The bicycle sustained minor damage. If anyone has information pertaining to this incident,please contact the Owen Sound Police Service at 519-376-1234.
