Sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, approximately 10 homes had damage done by having their cable and internet lines intentionally cut.
Home owners between the 1000-1800 block of 3rd Avenue East and 2nd Avenue East, woke up this morning to find they had interrupted services, later realizing the lines attached to their homes had been cut.
The Owen Sound Police Service was notified and have commenced an investigation.
If you have experienced similar circumstances and confirmed tampering or damage with the outside cable lines coming to your home, please contact the Owen Sound Police Service to file a report at 519-376-1234 x0.
It is believed there are more victims who are affected and may be unaware of the damage.
